This website has been created by the Society for the Protection of the North American Grizzly Bear (SPNAGB).

You may not be aware of it, but there are currently less than 6,000 North American Grizzly Bears left in the wild today. Only 30 years ago, there were over 60,000. The combined effects of deforestation and poaching have brought the species to the brink of extinction. At the present rate, the North American Grizzly Bear will disappear in 3 years - if we don't do something to save it. Now.

And that's where you come in. For us to save the bear, we need your help. Although we are a registered charity, we receive no government funding, and rely entirely on volunteers and benefactors to support us.
